Overview & Location

Dungeon Deceit lies upon the frostbitten expanse of Dagger Isle (Ice Island), north of Moonglow (Coordinates: 129°N, 167°E). Anti-virtue of Honesty, Deceit is Britannia's primary bastion of the undead, drawing holy paladins and silver-weapon wielders in search of gold and vanquishing relics.

Floor-by-Floor Inhabitants

Level 1: The Catacombs

The entry floor consists of damp stone tombs and burial corridors:

  • Inhabitants: Skeletons, Zombies, Bone Knights, Skeletal Mages.
  • Utility: Outstanding proving ground for young paladins honing Swordsmanship and Mace Fighting.

Level 2: The Torture Chambers & Crypts

The second level descends into an elaborate subterranean fortress:

  • Inhabitants: Mummies, Skeletal Knights, Bone Magi, and Ghouls.
  • Hazards: Mummies possess deep health reserves and hit with crushing force; keeping distance or using undead slayer weapons is recommended.

Level 3: The Hall of Liches

Deep, dark corridors lined with arcane summoning circles:

  • Inhabitants: Liches, Lich Lords, Poison Elementals, and Silver Serpents.
  • Tactics: Liches cast devastating Flamestrike and Lightning spells while dispelling summoned creatures. Magic Reflect and Energy Resist are vital.

Level 4: Neira's Crypt & The Unholy Terror Champion Altar

The lowest level of Deceit contains a colossal necromantic temple housing the Unholy Terror Champion Altar.

  • Champion: Neira the Necromancer. Neira rides an undead steed, hurling unholy bone shards and summoning hordes of skeletal horrors.
  • Loot & Rewards: Victorious adventurers claim power scrolls, champion skulls, and prestigious monster trophies.

Strategic Guidelines

  • Silver Weapons: Weapons imbued with the Silver slayer property deal double damage against all undead throughout Deceit.
  • Island Logistics: Because Dagger Isle is an isolated island, adventurers must secure runebook runes to mainland banks or carry boat keys for travel.
