Pet Control & Animal Lore Formula

Issuing commands (e.g., `all kill`, `all follow me`, `all stay`) requires both **Animal Taming** and **Animal Lore**:

  • High creature difficulty reduces obedience chance if your skills are not sufficiently above the minimum threshold.
  • Having **GM (100.0) Taming** and **GM (100.0) Lore** guarantees 99% obedience across all apex beasts including Dragons and White Wyrms.
  • If a pet repeatedly disobeys, its happiness decreases. Always carry raw meat to feed your pets and maintain **Wonderfully Happy** status.

Pet Bonding & Resurrection

  • Feeding a newly tamed creature its preferred diet begins the **bonding countdown** (typically 7 real-time days).
  • After 7 days, feeding the pet a second time permanently bonds it to you.
  • **Bonded Pet Benefits**:
    • When slain in combat, a bonded pet turns into a **ghost** rather than permanently dying!
    • Can be resurrected by an adventurer with high **Veterinary (80.0+)** and **Animal Lore**, or with a high-circle resurrection spell.
    • Can recall and gate travel alongside the owner without needing to be mounted.

Stabling & Pet Slots

Stablemasters in Britannia cities will board your mounts and combat pets:

  • Each player character has a control maximum of **5 active control slots**.
  • Stabling capacity increases with higher Animal Taming, Animal Lore, and Veterinary skills.
